Where do I start?
With a visit. We take a full history, order the labs that fit your symptoms, and build the plan from what comes back rather than from a template. That first appointment does not require a membership — come meet a provider and see the practice before deciding anything.
Can I combine hormone therapy with weight loss or peptides?
Often, yes — weight, hormones and energy are connected, and treating them separately is part of why they go unresolved for so long. Your provider decides what to start and in what order based on your labs and history, and adjusts as your results come in.
Is any of this covered by insurance?
The medical parts are: the visit itself and your labwork are billed to your insurance in the usual way, or available at published self-pay rates. The optimization programs — hormone therapy, GLP-1 weight loss, peptides, body contouring — are offered as member-priced wellness services rather than billed to a plan.
Do I need a membership for these programs?
Not for your first visit. To continue with Altavida on an ongoing basis, membership is required — it works alongside your insurance rather than replacing it, and it is what sets the member pricing on these programs.
